2024-SAPTAMI V *FINALS* GRAND FINALE - DANCE CONTESTS

Saptami Foundation proudly presents the following Dance Categories. Click the events below to register for FINALS.

 All Vocal and Instrumental contests unless specified otherwise, will have awards in three categories. Junior, Senior and Adults. Juniors will be 13 and below, Seniors 14 to 18 and Adult 19+. However, Judges will determine to adjust the scale based on the performances and number of entries to ensure maximum performances are awarded if they decide to give our more awards. Sub-Junior category will be added for winners ages below 10 years old. 

THE GENERAL RULES ARE

Dance Costume is a must. Evey dancer must bring floor spread to use while doing the makeup in the premises as we do not want to make damage to the floor of the facility.

While same song which was used for Prelims can be used, being finals, it is to your advantage to be ready to be competitive and feel free to choose any other piece which will showcase your learning better. You will not be penalized if you use the same song. 

You will perform live in front of the judges.

As a general rule, as always, please do not mention your name or your Guru's name or your Dance School name during your performance. 

Your room officer will be helping you with all your questions on the day of the contests.

ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, you will be asked to fill out a form with your song details to be given to Judges.

Please note that ranking will be given based on number of entries in each age grouping. Ranking will be only based on performance not by number of entries in each category.

We will publish actual schedule once registration is closed. 

You must keep the song ready and play as soon as you are asked to perform. Detailed instruction will be sent out to you few days before the event. Timer starts when you are asked to start.
