HINDUSTANI VOCAL / INST CONTESTS - GLOBAL - *FINALS*

Level 1 - Sub-Junior - 0 to 4 years of training

Level 2 - Junior - 4 to 7 years of training

Level 3 - Senior - 8+ years of training.

(You must enter song details in Remarks/Comments Column while checking in and no changes allowed.)

General Rules:

Use of accompaniments. 

1. Use of Tanpura - Electronic or physical permitted. If electronic tanpura help needed - it can be provided.

2. Harmonium - NOT permitted.

3. Tabla - Electronic or physical permitted. If electronic tabla help is needed please seek help.

If singer is planning with actual tabla player, please arrange one let tabla be in perfect pitch with singer before the event. Tuning tabla at the time of competition is not allowed. 

While same song which was used or Prelims can be used, being finals it is to your advantage to be ready to be competitive and feel free to choose any other piece which will showcase your learning better. You will not be penalized if you use the same song. 

Judges may ask some basic questions about the song and at your level of performance. (Sorry, we do not have any sample questions to share).

As a general rule, as always, please do not mention your name or your Guru's name or your  School name during your performance. 

Your  room officer will be helping you with all your questions on the day of the contests.

AT THE TIME OF CHECK-IN A FORM IS GIVEN TO ENTER SONG DETAILS FOR JUDGES TO REFER FROM
